Description
Thursday, July 10, 2025 - 4:50 P.M.
Good Afternoon! It appears that the final days are here for the metal grate bridge on Morgantown Road between Quarry Road and Morgan Way. Everything is in place for the detour to start this Saturday, July 12 at 6 A.M. The contractor hopes to have this projected completed in ten days and might be working 24 hours a day to get it completed.
Detour for cars will be from Northbound SR 10 right onto Quarry Road and then left onto Morgan Way to SR 10.
Southbound will be the reverse flow.
Please note the the intersection of Morgan Way and Quarry Road will become a temporary 3way stop.
Truck traffic will be directed to use I-176 north to Green Hills exit and to come south on SR 10. Truck traffic southbound on I-176 will be advised to use the Flying Hill's exit if needed.
We know this will be a major inconvenience for everyone that uses this area. Traffic will be congested at times also.
We appreciate your patience while the takes place.
