CRIME WATCH ALERT – CRAFTON
July 8, 2025
Crafton Police took 2 stolen vehicle reports overnight (July 7):
One from Hawthorne Ave
One from the 100 block of W. Steuben St
One vehicle possibly had keys left inside
One vehicle was recovered nearby
A third vehicle on Hawthorne Ave. was also entered and a high-value purse was stolen.
Check your home surveillance cameras and report ANY suspicious people or activity!
Hyundai & Kia owners:
Your vehicles are being targeted more than others!
Use a steering wheel lock (like “The Club”)
Add anti-theft devices
DO NOT leave:
Spare keys
Valuables
Firearms
Electronics
…inside your car — especially in plain sight!
LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
