Flood Warning issued July 9 at 10:23PM EDT until July 10 at 6:13AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...
Chester Creek Near Chester affecting Delaware County.
For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, The creek floods adjacent open land.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:16 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:16 PM EDT Wednesday was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.4
feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
8.6 feet on 09/18/2004.
