Flood Warning issued July 9 at 9:57PM EDT until July 10 at 8:22AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

...The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Pennsylvania...

Chester Creek Near Chester affecting Delaware County.

For the Chester Creek...including Chester...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Chester Creek near Chester.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, The creek floods adjacent open land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:47 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 9.4 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage just after
midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.4 feet on 01/25/2020.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
