The National Weather Service in State College has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central York County in south central Pennsylvania...
* Until 815 PM EDT.
* At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

York, Weigelstown, Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West
York, Grantley, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, Valley View, Manchester,
Hallam, Emigsville, Wrightsville, Dover, North York, Yorklyn,
Mount Wolf, Yorkana, East Prospect and Penn State York.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
