Flood Advisory issued July 9 at 12:11PM CDT until July 9 at 3:15PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
county, Travis.
* WHEN...Until 315 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1211 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Austin, Cedar Park, Anderson Mill, Leander, Lakeway, Lago
Vista, Bee Cave, Hudson Bend, The Hills, Mansfield Dam,
Jonestown, Briarcliff, Point Venture, Volente and Lost Creek.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
