Description
Flash Flood Warning issued July 1 at 12:55PM EDT until July 1 at 1:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 1255 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The
heaviest rain has exited the area, but additional rainfall amounts
up to 0.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
McCandless Township, Monroeville, McKeesport, Gastonville, Shaler
Township, Plum, West Mifflin, North Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin,
Upper St. Clair, Hampton Township, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg,
Whitehall and South Park Township.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
