...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR NORTHWESTERN LANCASTER AND SOUTHEASTERN LEBANON
COUNTIES...
At 1259 AM EDT, Local law enforcement continue to respond to water
rescues across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Northern Lancaster County. This
is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water
crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses.

Lancaster, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz, Millersville,
Willow Street, Mount Joy, Manheim, East Petersburg, Cornwall,
Akron, Leola, Salunga-Landisville, Denver, Maytown, Reamstown,
Rothsville, Mountville and Marietta.
Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
