Flash Flood Warning issued June 30 at 7:31PM EDT until June 30 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 731 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Palmyra and Mount Joy. Between 1.5 and 2.5
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, Palmyra, Manheim, Campbelltown, Rheems,
Timber Hills, Mount Gretna Heights, Lawn, Mount Gretna and
Elizabethtown College.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
