Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 28 at 1:21PM EDT until June 28 at 2:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 121 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Greensburg to near Connellsville, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Latrobe, Connellsville, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Youngwood, Lawson Heights, New Stanton,
South Connellsville, Ligonier, Seven Springs, Calumet-Norvelt,
Dunbar, Everson, Youngstown, Hunker, Laurel Mountain, Donegal and
Champion.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
