The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northeastern Fayette County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Southern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 103 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Irwin to near Perryopolis, or along a line from 6 miles
southwest of Jeannette to 6 miles west of Connellsville, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville, Mount Pleasant,
Scottdale, Irwin, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Youngwood, West
Newton, Lawson Heights, New Stanton, South Connellsville,
Perryopolis, Ligonier, Seven Springs, Calumet-Norvelt, Dunbar,
Everson and Sutersville.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
