Description
Flash Flood Warning issued June 26 at 7:50PM EDT until June 26 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 750 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rain had left
the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
However, showers with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Laureldale,
Wernersville, Robesonia, Leesport, Elverson, New Morgan, Spring
Ridge and Shillington.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
