Description
Extreme heat often results in the highest annual number of deaths among all weather-related disasters. As such the Library is open today until 8:00 PM as a cooling center. The Municipal Government Center and the Senior Services Center are also open as cooling centers.
Please stay hydrated, watch for heat illnesses such as heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke, try to stay cool in any way possible such as staying in Air Conditioning and light clothing, Check up on family and neighbors, avoid strenuous activity, and never leave people or pets in closed cars.
