Message from the Mayor:
I’ve been posting updates on my Facebook page Littlestown Mayor. I have been in touch with the Chief/Borough Manager since this started. Our staff send the Savvy updates & since this started over the weekend they have not been in the office to get the updates out.
Here's what we know - both Met Ed & Adams Electric were impacted by whatever caused the outage & it is not limited to Littlestown. The companies have not been in contact with us, so this morning, Chief Kellar is going to them.
Borough staff have been monitoring the infrastructure that is supported by generators to make sure residents have water & the traffic signals are operational. We are discussing options for a potential cooling station & I am waiting for an update any minute.
This issue has raised some areas of concern that I will need to address once it is over. I appreciate your patience & will continue to update on Littlestown Mayor. I will also check about Savvy updates.
