Here is the latest update from PECO at 11:15 AM Saturday, June 21st.
PECO is asking customers to continue to monitor the outage map to view outages and updated restoration times. PECO is reporting 47,439 customers without power and 1893 active outages. Of those outages 15,103 are in Montgomery County. There is approximately 300 customers still without power in the Borough.
PECO and their crews hope to have the vast number of outages in their service area restored by Monday night, if they can pull forward on that, they will. They are aware of the increasing temperatures and are doing what they can to restore power safely to all customers.
The Borough will continue to provide updates as we have them through the weekend.
Please check on your neighbors during this extreme heat.
State Representative Guenst office will be open today at Noon for those that need to cool off or need to charge their phones. The Hatboro Pool is also open beginning at Noon today; you do not need to be a member to use the facilities. While we do not have alot of space for charging, or air conditioning we do have bathrooms and a cool pool to take a dip.
