Heat Advisory issued June 21 at 2:06AM EDT until June 24 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Heat index values up to 108 expected.
* WHERE...In Delaware, Kent, Delaware Beaches, and Inland Sussex
Counties. In Maryland, Caroline, Kent MD, Queen Annes, and Talbot
Counties.
* WHEN...From 8 AM Monday to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures of 75 to 80 degrees will not
offer much relief at night.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
