* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 540 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Abington, or
7 miles north of Philadelphia, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, Trenton, Bensalem, Ewing, Lansdale, East Norriton,
Princeton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Doylestown, Riverside,
Palmyra, Hatboro, Ambler, Hightstown, Jenkintown, Chalfont,
Bordentown, and Pennington.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
