Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 19 at 5:08PM EDT until June 19 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 508 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Apollo, moving
east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Indiana, Vandergrift, Homer City, Apollo, Murrysville, Lower
Burrell, Blairsville, Leechburg, Black Lick, North Apollo, West
Leechburg, Avonmore, Orchard Hills, Saltsburg, Oklahoma, West
Lebanon, East Vandergrift, North Vandergrift, Hyde Park and Chevy
Chase Heights.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
