From New Salem Borough Emergency Management Coordinator - Please be advised there will be a Major/Extreme Heat Risk across Pennsylvania. For York County, the heat indices will exceed 100° F beginning June 22nd through June 25th. Please take caution when going outside as the heat can be deadly. Make sure to check on your neighbors who may need assistance during this period of time.
