Flood Watch issued June 17 at 9:35PM EDT until June 18 at 7:00AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont and Monroe, southwest Pennsylvania, including the
following areas, Fayette, Greene, Higher Elevations of Fayette and
Washington, and West Virginia, including the following areas,
Brooke, Eastern Preston, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio,
Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston and
Wetzel.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are
running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
