Description
The Cedar Key Water and Sewer District is conducting a Chemical Washout of its 250,000-gallon water tower located at the corner of G Street and Whiddon Avenue. This washout will thoroughly clean the inside of the water tank and will require the water tower to be empty for up to 48 hours.

Following the washout, the need to refill the water tower is of the utmost importance. Beginning Wednesday morning June 18th, we ask all Cedar Keyan’s to help the refill process by the regulating the amount of water used over the next 7 days. Our Fire Department has been alerted and the Department has made the necessary adjustments needed to provide fire protection.

We appreciate everyone’s help in this endeavor. If you have any questions, please contact John Rittenhouse at 352-543-5285. Thank you!
