Description
Flash Flood Warning issued June 15 at 6:11PM EDT until June 15 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 611 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ross Township, McCandless Township, Vandergrift, Apollo, Shaler
Township, Plum, Murrysville, Hampton Township, New Kensington,
Lower Burrell, Harrison Township, O'hara Township, Oakmont, Fox
Chapel, Arnold, Tarentum, Natrona Heights, Etna and Sharpsburg.

Water was flowing over roads in Armstrong county.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
