Special Weather Statement issued June 15 at 2:39PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
At 238 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Thorndale to Lago Vista to Crabapple.
Movement was southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, San Marcos, Pflugerville,
Kyle, Taylor, Buda, Lockhart, Fredericksburg, Elgin, Bastrop, Marble
Falls, Giddings, Smithville, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Comfort,
and Blanco.
