Public Service Announcement: Ongoing Construction Update
Please be advised that construction work throughout the Borough is progressing smoothly.
As of yesterday, paving has been completed on the following areas:
- North Street
- Riverside Drive
- Borough Hall parking lot
- Merski Office parking lot
Work on Fremont Street is currently underway, with several patch repairs being completed today.
In the coming days, joints will be cut into the newly paved surface on North Street as part of the final finishing process.
Looking ahead to next month, Riverside Drive and both parking lots will be seal coated (tar and chipped) to lock in the binder asphalt and create a durable, long-lasting surface.
Additionally, accessibility upgrades will continue on Riverside Drive, where ADA-compliant curb ramps are being installed at the intersections of:
- South Street & Riverside Drive
- Fremont Street & Riverside Drive
