Flood Watch issued June 12 at 3:50PM CDT until June 13 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including
the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and
Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Brazoria Islands, Coastal
Brazoria, Coastal Matagorda, Inland Brazoria, Inland Matagorda and
Matagorda Islands.
* WHEN...Through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall flooding is not anticipated overnight. However,
scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop
early Friday. Areas that received heavy rainfall today may be
more prone to additional flood impacts if heavy rainfall
moves over these areas again.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
