Flood Advisory issued June 12 at 5:24AM CDT until June 12 at 10:30AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, Bexar, Caldwell, DeWitt, Fayette, Gonzales,
Guadalupe, Karnes, Lavaca and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. River or stream flows
are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 524 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Antonio, Cuero, Gonzales, Floresville, Yoakum, Luling, La
Grange, Kenedy, Karnes City, Schulenburg, Hallettsville,
Poth, Yorktown, Shiner, Stockdale, Flatonia, Moulton,
Kosciusko, Lytle and Nixon.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
