Attention Yankeetown Residents
There has been a confirmed bear sighting in the area. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is aware and monitoring the situation.
To help residents stay informed, FWC will provide reference guides on "Living with Bears" at Town Hall on Monday.
For safety, please remain cautious, secure food sources, and avoid approaching the bear.
