Description
Oncor will begin upgrading existing distribution facilities with 3-phase 795 overhead construction (powerlines), consisting of pole and conductor replacements in the downtown Eddy area. Work is set to start this week and will continue for approximately two months.
Oncor will be working within their dedicated easements as well as both City of Bruceville-Eddy and TXDOT rights-of-way (roadways and bar ditches).
Who: Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC.
What: Upgrades to distribution lines in the area
Where: Downtown Eddy area. The scope of the project is depicted on the attached map.
When: The months of May, June, July, and August 2025
Why: To increase the distribution capacity of their electric delivery services
While no full road closures are anticipated with this project, temporary lane closures may be needed to protect construction zones.
