Flood Advisory issued May 27 at 1:02AM CDT until May 27 at 5:30AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, Bexar, DeWitt, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes and
Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 102 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Antonio, Pleasanton, Cuero, Floresville, Jourdanton,
Poteet, Kenedy, Karnes City, Poth, Yorktown, Charlotte,
Stockdale, Christine, Kosciusko, Campbellton, Stinson
Municipal Airport, Lytle, Nixon, Somerset and Elmendorf.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
