Flood Watch issued May 26 at 4:58AM CDT until May 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central
Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas,
Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Limestone and McLennan.
In northeast Texas, Anderson and Leon. In south central Texas,
Milam and Robertson.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 6 inches.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
