Information on summer trash pickup

Description
As we enter the summer months and are able to enjoy family and friends, with outdoor gatherings, BBQ's and picnics, the amount and weight of trash and recyclables increases. There are days when the trash company must leave their route to dispose of the trash already collected due to weight limits of the trucks. Should this happen, the driver will return to finish the route by the end of the day. We ask for your patience on these days as your trash may not be picked up until 4:30pm or a little later. If after this time, your trash still has not been collected or you have not received an alert through Savvy Citizen of an issue, contact Casella at forkstownship@casella.com. or Phone: 800-832-1332 (Press 1 for PA, Press 3 for Kunkletown).
