Special Weather Statement issued May 21 at 4:49PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Ashtabula to near Bristolville. Movement
was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ashtabula, Conneaut, Girard, North Kingsville, Kinsman, Albion,
Andover, Linesville, Adamsville, Pymatuning Central, Pymatuning
North, Lake City, Mecca, Kingsville, Roaming Shores, Pierpont, Cherry
Valley, Conneautville, Cranesville, and Jamestown.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
