Description
This is a friendly reminder that residents are eligible for 1 large/bulk item per trash week. However, residents must call 800.210.9675 to schedule bulk item pickup.
Acceptable Items
Carpet 48” max length rolled and tied, furniture,
mattresses and box springs (must be wrapped
in plastic), lawn mowers, grills, car tires (no
rims), toilets, sinks, shower stalls, indoor
bathtubs, interior doors, general household
items, dishwashers, dryers, hot water heaters,
microwaves, stoves, freezers, refrigerators and
other appliances
Non-Acceptable Items
Yard waste, bags or boxes of household trash,
and cardboard boxes are NOT considered bulk.
Vehicles – Tractors, boats (any type of
watercraft whatsoever, including kayaks,
canoes, etc.), riding mowers and vehicle parts,
including truck caps
Concrete Items – Lawn and garden ornaments,
railroad/landscaping ties, pianos and organs
Electronics – TVs, computers and accessories
Building or Flooring Materials – Garage doors,
hot tubs, PVC pipe, etc.
Outside Structures – Fencing, gazebos and
swing sets
Preparation
Glass must be taped or wrapped to prevent
driver injury. Liquids must be drained. All items
more than 8 feet long must be broken down
or disassembled and bundled. Nothing longer
than 8 feet and/or exceeding 75 pounds will be
accepted without Republic Services approval.
All matresses and box springs must be
wrapped in plastic for pickup.
