Adams County in south central Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Franklin County in south central Pennsylvania...
* Until 515 PM EDT.
* At 418 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Scotland to Taneytown, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Chambersburg, Hanover, Waynesboro, Gettysburg, Shippensburg,
Greencastle, Hampton, Guilford, Littlestown, Carroll Valley,
Fayetteville, and McSherrystown.
Radar has indicated rotation within these severe thunderstorms.
Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop
quickly during severe thunderstorms.
This includes Interstate 81 from mile markers 0 to 25.
