* Until 1215 PM EDT.
* At 1122 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Spring
Mount, or 21 miles east of Reading, moving east at 35 mph. This
storm has a history of producing wind damage in Berks County.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Philadelphia, Bensalem, Norristown, Pottstown, Phoenixville,
Lansdale, West Norriton, East Norriton, Perkasie, Doylestown,
Conshohocken, Palmyra, Hatboro, Souderton, Ambler, Collegeville,
Royersford, Jenkintown, Chalfont, and Trappe.

ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
