Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 16 at 12:43AM EDT until May 16 at 1:30AM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

At 1243 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Quanicassee to near Mayville to near Almont,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
Caro, Sebewaing, Brown City, Unionville, Kingston, and Clifford
around 1250 AM EDT.
Cass City and Gagetown around 1255 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Goodland Township, East Dayton, Attica, Tuscola, Elba, Colling,
Wilmot, Wisner, Ellington, and Gilford.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT for southeastern
Michigan.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
