Team Rubicon, a veteran-led volunteer organization recognized nationally for disaster response, is coordinating with 2-1-1 to support private debris cleanup efforts across Allegheny County.
If you are aware of private residents with unmet debris removal needs, please direct them to call 2-1-1. The 2-1-1 team will assess their situation and refer appropriate cases to Team Rubicon.
Team Rubicon volunteers are trained to cut and move debris, stacking it at the curb for collection. Volunteers will be clearly identified by gray Team Rubicon shirts and will only engage with residents who have requested assistance.
Forest Hills residents seeking help can also call 2-1-1 directly to request debris cleanup support.
