May 4th Update - Utilities and Road Closures

Description
Roads Closed / Blocked
• Woodside road is still blocked from Forest Hills Road to Cherry Valley Road
• Greenwood is still blocked
• Overdale Road is blocked from Hawthorne to 215 Overdale
• Atlantic Ave. @ 535 for a wire in the road
• Radnor @ 31
• Demmer @ Marwood
• Newport Road is passable
The Borough will continue to work to clear these roads as Duquesne Light(DLC) removes the lines or informs us they are disconnected. The Borough cannot remove a tree until DLC indicates the line is dead or removed. We cannot control when/where DLC will be next, but we continue to advocate for the remaining lines in Forest hills to be fixed.
Monday will also resume debris cleanup. Any trees or pieces left by the curb will be picked up by our DPW.
A dumpster for spoiled and other food that has gone bad will be available later in the day on Monday, May 5th at the Westinghouse parking lot.
The Borough Building will continue to be available for those needing to charge their electronics and to answer whatever questions we can beginning at 9 am on Monday, May 5th.
