Celebrate National Historic Preservation Month in Cedar Key

May is National Historic Preservation Month—a time to honor our nation’s rich heritage through its historic places.

To mark the occasion, the City of Cedar Key is proud to partner with the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and the University of Florida’s Historic Preservation Program to celebrate preservation month together.

Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Cedar Key Historical Society Museum

Join us for a morning of reflection, recognition, and storytelling. The event will feature a special announcement from a national organization and an opportunity to experience our local history in a new and meaningful way. Community members will be on hand to share stories about their buildings, families, and industries—connecting the past with the present.

All are welcome. Come celebrate the people and places that make Cedar Key unique.
