Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 12:09AM EDT by NWS State College PA
A line of strong thunderstorms will be moving east across the
area through 2 AM and will create
* Wind gusts up to 40 MPH.
* Frequent lightning.
* Very heavy rainfall of up to one inch in less than one hour.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A few of the storms within the line may intensify, so be certain
to monitor local radio stations and available television stations
for additional information and possible warnings from your
National Weather Service.
