Description
Mayor Paul Gamrat has declared a State of Emergency for the Borough of Churchill effective April 30, 2025, due to the severe storm that caused widespread damage.
What You Need to Know:
The storm has downed numerous trees and power lines throughout the Borough.
Power lines may still be energized — STAY AWAY for your safety.
Please limit all travel to ESSENTIAL purposes only until further notice.
Duquesne Light has reported over 209,000 outages in Allegheny County and is working to restore power — please be patient.
The Churchill Borough Police Department, Volunteer Fire Company, and Department of Public Works are actively working to clear roads and remove debris.
We are asking all residents to use caution, stay informed through official Borough channels, and check on neighbors when it is safe to do so.
