Description
Special Weather Statement issued April 29 at 7:08PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 700 PM EDT, a line of severe thunderstorms extended from near
Bellefonte to State College and Huntingdon, moving east northeast
at 65 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail are probable. If the
line of storms maintains it strength or intensifies slightly,
localized damaging wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph would be likely.

The gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

If outdoors, or in campgrounds, plan to seek shelter inside a
sturdy building until this line of storms passes.

Be certain to monitor local radio stations and available
television stations for additional information and possible
warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT
for Potter and Tioga Counties.
