Flood Watch issued April 29 at 12:38PM CDT until May 1 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Texas, including
the following counties, in north central Texas, Collin, Denton and
Hunt. In northeast Texas, Delta and Hopkins.
* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 5 to 6 inches.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
