The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Lake Ontario from Thirty Mile Point to Sodus Bay...
* Until 715 PM EDT.
* At 608 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 nm north of Sunset Beach to 18 nm northeast of
Small Boat Harbor, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
Sunset Beach, Ontario Beach, Thirty Mile Point, Irondequoit Bay,
Ontario On The Lake, and Hamlin Beach.
Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
