Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 20 at 8:16PM CDT until April 20 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL
At 816 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles southeast of St. David to near Waverly, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe storms will be near...
New Berlin, Pleasant Plains, Petersburg, Easton, Loami, and Auburn
around 820 PM CDT.
Greenview, Chatham, Springfield, and Athens around 825 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Prentice, Salisbury, Topeka, Oakford, Curran, Berlin, Chatauqua Park,
Thayer, Lincolns New Salem, and Lowder.
This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 77 and 94.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and
west central Illinois.
