Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 19 at 5:43PM EDT until April 19 at 6:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 543 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bentleyville,
or 6 miles south of Gastonville, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Jeannette, Latrobe, Gastonville,
South Park Township, Jefferson Hills, White Oak, Monessen,
Clairton, Donora, Mount Pleasant, Monongahela, Charleroi, Irwin,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Manor, Youngwood and West Newton.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
