In the fall of 2024, the Borough of Littlestown sent out letters to all our customers regarding the Environmental Protection Agency’s Get the Lead Out initiative. We asked all customers to complete the survey on our website. In some instances, renters’ notifications were sent to the property owners. You are now receiving this notice because we have not received your survey. Therefore, to continue with this important project, the Borough of Littlestown will begin conducting door-to-door inspections, to identify all remaining water service lines. Beginning April 29th, 2025, Public works employees will be making in-person inspections. Staff members will be wearing bright utility vests and Borough ID badges. These inspections are visual, and residents do not need to do anything except allow our employees to gain access to your water meter to perform the inspection.
Please Note: This letter will not be going out to all residents, only the residents on the following streets that have not submitted their survey. We encourage you to please submit your survey yourself. Please see the attached letter for details.
