Special Weather Statement issued April 15 at 3:56PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 355 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Weigelstown to Littlestown. Movement was east
at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Dallastown, Hanover, North York, Brogue, West York, York, East
Prospect, Windsor, York Airport, Spring Grove, Stonybrook-Wilshire,
Parkville, Red Lion, East Berlin, Glenville, Pennville, Cross Roads,
Loganville, Shrewsbury, and New Salem.
