Special Weather Statement issued April 15 at 2:08PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 208 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Cogan Station to Laurelton Center. Movement was
east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jerseytown, Montoursville, Lairdsville, Allenwood, Williamsport
Airport, West Milton, Northumberland, Sunbury, Forest Hill, Shamokin
Dam, Mooresburg, Kratzerville, Garden View, Biggertown, Sand Bridge
State Park, Williamsport, Iola, Millville, Stonington, and
Watsontown.
