Notice: During the April 15th 4:30 council meeting, council will discuss where to allow various types of hunting in Peninsula Park, Wainer Park and Inspiration Park. Public input is welcome.

Currently:
Hunting is allowed in Wainer Park and Peninsula Park.
Hunting is not permitted in Inspiration Park, as a condition of the donation.
Park lands are surrounded/adjacent to private property which may or may not restrict hunting now or in the future.
Safety concerns have been raised for park attendees out walking, biking, running in close proximity to hunting.
Water fowl hunting on Edinboro Lake will not be restricted.
Varmint hunting may be allowed at select times with notifications posted on site at Council discretion. Ground hog holes/mounds can cause dangerous conditions for walkers, runners,. cyclists, etc, and are known to carry ticks.
